A period bathroom transformed with marble-effect porcelain, a freestanding roll-top bath and a walk-in rainfall shower, keeping the original leaded bay windows as the centrepiece.

The project
This bathroom sat in a handsome period property in central Brighton, so the brief was to bring it fully up to date without losing the character that made the room worth keeping. We stripped it back, re-planned the layout around the original leaded bay windows, and rebuilt it as a calm, hotel-quality space.
Marble-effect porcelain runs floor to ceiling for a seamless, low-maintenance finish, with a freestanding roll-top bath as the centrepiece and a generous walk-in rainfall shower alongside. New plumbing, a chrome heated towel rail and careful tiling detail around the windows finish the room.
